They scheduled a cesarean for the morning of the 14th, because they did an ultrasound on Wednesday the 13th, ( 4 days after her due date, and no signs of coming out anytime soon) and realized that Harper was around 10 lbs. Those of you who know my sister know that she is not very big at all, and there is NO way that a 10 lb baby was going to squeeze out of her. Mom, her friend Geoff and I hit the road to Cedar Park, Texas Wednesday night. We finally arrived at 11pm that night and got a few hours of sleep before the big day. Hooray! Please tell Jill CONGRATULATIONS for me. Harper is a doll, and I think she looks like your mom! And how nice to have such a healthy weight. I'm so happy for Jill. Please tell her so! (And tell her to start blogging!)
